Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter is American singer and she is born on 4 September 1981 in Houston, Texas, United States.
Her parents are named Mathew Knowles and Tina Knowles.
In addition to Beyoncé, her parents have two more children. She has two more sisters named Solange Knowles and Bianca Lawson.
Beyoncé married Jay Z, a rapper and songwriter of America in 2008.
Since childhood, she fond of dancing and used to take dancing classes at St. Mary’s Montessori School.
Shortly afterwards she also came to know of his singing talent, when his dance teacher had gone to a song and Beyonce completed the song. To enhance her singing talent, she took admission in Parker Elementary School and during an audition they formed a group called Girls Tyme and added many more girls in this group.
And after that she also participated in Star Search contest but she could not win it and this show used to be telecast on television. Shortly afterwards the show received a recording contract from Elektra, and the contract then went to Atlantic Records.

She then released her album The Writing’s on the Wall and the album gained him a lot of popularity and sold total of more than 8 million copies.
Not only this in 2001 she again got a major role in the MTV film Carmen: A Hip Hopera.
Destiny Child’s next album Survivor was released. Beyonce began her solo career in October 2002 and released her debut solo album Dangerously in Love.
She got a very good response from this album and in just one week, 3 lakh 17 thousand copies of this album were sold. She was then given 5 Grammy Awards at the 46th Annual Grammy Awards.
She received two Grammy Awards for Best Contemporary R&B Album and Best Female R&B Vocals Performance for Dangerously in Love Two. For his song Crazy in Love, she was given two more Grammy Awards under the category Best R&B Song and Best Rap / Sung Collaboration.
And finally, she was given another Grammy Awards for her song, The Closer I Get to You under the category of Best R&B Performance by Duo or Group With Vocals, She sang this song with Luther Vandross.
Her next album B’Day was released and the album sold a total of 541,000 copies. Going forward, she also performed in The Pink Panther movie and won the hearts of the people.
Apart from this, she was nominated 10 times at the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards, out of which she won 6 nominations and was given 6 Grammy Awards. After a short break she released her album 4 and after that she released another album, Beyonce in her own name.
